The thesis presented by the researcher Hawra Khalid Yassin aims to explore the transformation in contemporary Iraqi ceramics between 2006 and 2023 and focus on works that combine traditional and aesthetic transformation.
The dissertation included a comprehensive study of the development of ceramic art in Iraq and the impact of aesthetic transformations on it in modern times.
The thesis concluded that the success of contemporary Iraqi Potters in integrating traditional elements with Modern Innovations has added new dimensions to traditional art.
