The Center for Educational Guidance and Psychological Care at the University of Basra organized an electronic seminar on confronting intellectual extremism among university students. The workshop, in which the lecturer at the Guidance Center, M.M. Ashwaq Jabbar Hamoud, lectured, included the concept of intellectual extremism and the most important reasons that lead to intellectual extremism among students. She explained the most important solutions to confront intellectual extremism and the necessity of developing specific strategies to reduce this phenomenon and accustom students to sound thinking and the method of obtaining information from its reliable sources.
