Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab Our college organized a scientific lecture on primary health care, which was lectured by Assistant Lecturer Hazem Naeem Wahib, a faculty member at the college. The lecture dealt with the role of primary health care, its origins, development, definition, principles and basics, and the role of university nurses in primary health care and providing care and health needs for the person throughout life. Primary health care ensures that people receive comprehensive care, ranging from guidance and prevention to treatment, rehabilitation and care The lecture aimed to familiarize students with primary health care and its applications in the practical aspect in health and governmental institutions
