Development and Continuing Education centre at Basrah University helds a course on accounting and auditing.
The course aim is to develop participants' knowledge of basic accounting concepts, improve their ability to prepare financial reports and learn about internal and external auditing procedures, types and audit reports.
The course, which was presented by Lecturer Hussam Ahmed Ali and Lecturer Muhammad Faraj Hanoun, included the concept of financial accounting, the accounting cycle, financial reports and statements, accounting standards and principles, auditing concept, reports and types and auditing process components.
The course in the field of accounting and auditing recommended to update employees' information and inform them of the latest developments in accounting and auditing.
