The Faculty of science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar on" the structural pattern and tectonic development of the Zubair oil field in southern Iraq " and the seminar aimed to present the tools and data that were used for the purpose of conducting the structural and tectonic analysis of the Zubair oil field, including geophysical data and well Information. The seminar, which was attended by doctoral student Ayman Adel Lazim, included presenting the preliminary results of the structural geological analysis in its engineering and origin branches through the interpretation of geophysical data, where it was found that there are fractures in the layers of Jurassic and Cretaceous geological time, which may have an important role in the formation of oil traps within the Zubair oil field.
