Based on the principle of cooperation between the College of Engineering, University of Basra, and Wood Company, a company specialized in the field of energy, Wood Company presented an appreciation shield to the College of Engineering, represented by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, for the continuous cooperation with the company by providing it with new graduate engineers for employment in the company. In addition, the company annually tests a group of third-year students for training in the company for a month. The honoring ceremony was attended by the Director of Graduate Studies, Dr. Osama Jassim Naeem. The Dean of the College also thanked Wood Company for what it provides to the college students.
