Under the direct supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra
The Continuing Education Unit organized a workshop on Compressed blood volume, which was lectured by Assistant Professor Dr. Wasfi Zahir Abdul Ali, Lecturer Dr. Iman Hanash, Assistant Lecturer Samaher Sabry, Assistant Lecturer Zahra Mahmoud, and Assistant Lecturer Zainab Alaa, members of the teaching staff at the College of Nursing. The workshop included an introduction to hematology in addition to the most important tests related to determining the presence of anemia in the body, including the compressed blood volume test, where the principle of the test, the materials used in the test, and the method of work were addressed, as well as how to read the final results of the test. For his part, Al-Nawab stressed the college's keenness to organize many awareness seminars and workshops throughout the year, in order to activate the college's role in reducing community problems and contributing to solving them.
