The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra organized a discussion session on the impact of the cognitive acceleration strategy on the achievement of the subject of philosophy and psychology among fifth-year literary female students.
The session aimed to identify the strategy capable of meeting the needs of female students in advanced classes and helping them achieve better results in subjects that require critical thinking and analysis such as philosophy and psychology.
The session, presented by graduate student Ashwaq Talib, included explaining the concept of the cognitive acceleration strategy, the mechanism for implementing the strategy, its impact on academic achievement, and identifying the challenges and difficulties that teachers and students may face when applying cognitive acceleration and how to overcome them, in addition to evaluating the effectiveness of the strategy and highlighting its role in improving academic achievement and raising levels of understanding
