The college of science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar on GIS-based AHP-TOPSIS techniques to the optimal location of the desalination plant at Basrah Governate, southern Iraq .
The seminar aimed to choose the best desalination site for surface water in Basra governorate . The seminar in which the student attended included ( Nour Abdullah Ebadi ) . About hydrological models and linking them with programming techniques and choosing the best models by determining the purpose of the study
