The Department of History at the Faculty of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra organized a seminar on the Democratic Front for Peace and Equality in the Israeli entity 1977-2000.
The seminar aimed to learn about its origins, its role in the church elections from 1977-2000, and its position on the situation in the region.
The seminar, presented by graduate student Kazim Wadi Khashan, addressed the historical roots of the Democratic Front, its participation in the elections in the Israeli entity for the years 1977-2000, its position on Arab-Israeli issues and the agreements concluded by some Arab countries with the usurper entity, its position on the Palestinian issue, as well as its position on education, the economy and other issues.
