The Polymer Research Center at the University of Basra held a workshop on the concept of solar panels, in which Dr. Muhammad T. Obaid participated. The workshop aims to know the role of solar panels in generating electrical energy and how to choose the best elements of the solar panel system equipped for an electrical load, and to know the effect of weather conditions on the efficiency of solar cells. It was concluded through the lecture that poly panels are better than mono panels practically and when using wires with low resistance and using common commercial regulators because the voltage of the mono panel is better than the PWM market type of the voltage of the poly panel, so if the resistance is high, the best choice is the mono panel. As for the cost, poly panels are cheaper than mono because the cost of mono panels is higher when manufacturing. As for the very important and last point, which is the expected life or warranty, both panels have the same warranties and the same expected life exactly.
