University of Basrah organized a seminar on "removing pollutants from wastewater using magnetic nano oxides: sustainable environmental solutions"
A seminar was held at College of Science, Department of Ecology, which presented by MSc. Student Ayat Salah Mahlahal, The aims of study to identify the sources of organic pollution and physical, chemical and biological wastewater treatment methods.
The session focused on the use of environmentally friendly methods in treatments, including adsorption to remove various pollutants as an easy, inexpensive and highly efficient method for removal, in addition to the use of nanotechnologies to improve water quality by removing organic pollutants. These techniques contribute to protecting the environment and public health, and reducing treatment costs
