University of Basra organizes a scientific symposium on women and peaceful coexistence
The Women's Affairs Unit, College of Education for Humanities, University of Basra, in cooperation with the College of Education for Girls, organized a scientific symposium on women and peaceful coexistence.
The symposium aimed to identify the role of Iraqi women in developing and establishing the concept of peaceful coexistence among family members.
The symposium, in which a number of female lecturers lectured, demonstrated the role of women in developing and establishing the foundations of peaceful coexistence and spreading the culture of peace among members of society and rejecting extremism and violence in educational institutions, through their participation in voluntary work that calls for strengthening and preserving the ties of the family and society with Iraqi institutions.
The symposium was attended by Assistant Professor Iman Naeem, Assistant Professor Shadha Jasib Obaidi, Assistant Professor Abeer Khadir Abbas, and Assistant Professor Maysaa Abdul Hussein Khalaf from the College of Education for Girls.
