Ph. D thesis at the faculty of Science at the University of Basraha (Evaluation of biological activity of some fungal extracts isolated from poultry wastes in laboratory), showed the researcher's thesis Sanaa Abdul Hamid Ghali the importance of compounds extracted from fungi. The study included extracting secondary metabolites from the producing fungi and measuring their inhibitory effectiveness against bacteria, pathogenic yeasts and breast cancer cells, isolating and identifying biologically active compounds and studying their biological effectiveness. The study recommended testing the effectiveness of these compounds on laboratory animals and testing their effectiveness as antivirals.
