Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, the College of Nursing at the University of Basra organized a religious festival on the occasion of the martyrdom of the pure friend Lady Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her. The festival was attended by the teacher Farhan Laidh Aiz, a member of the teaching staff, and the festival was attended by a number of university teachers and employees and a large gathering of college students.
For his part, al-Nawab said that commemorating the special occasions of the remembrance of the family of the Prophet Muhammad (may God bless him and his family) is a complementary aspect of the work because the family of the Prophet (peace be upon them) are equal to the Holy Qur’an, and they are, along with the Book of God, the two weighty things that the Messenger of God (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace) commanded us to adhere to. Therefore, the College of Nursing is keen to hold cognitive and Qur’anic programs on religious occasions, to draw lessons and morals from the biography of the family of the Prophet (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace) and their blessed words.
