University of Basra organizes a discussion session on the behavioral contract
The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra organized a discussion session on the behavioral contract.
The discussion session aimed to define the behavioral contract and the important aspects that must be implemented for the contract to be obtained, the reward that the person who carries out the task receives, and the similarities and differences with other contracts.
The discussion session presented by Dr. Hamid Qasim Rishan included a statement of the terms of the contract, which must be written in clear language that shows the task and the reward, and that it must be understood by both parties and that the reward is proportionate to the task, with an emphasis on reinforcement upon completion of the task with the possibility of amending the terms of the agreement if necessary, which has proven this method effective in modifying the behavior of children, students and spouses.
