The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a lecture on methods compliant with the ethics of the teaching profession, the sixth unit for the administrative specialization as part of the teaching methods course.
The lecture aims to identify some methods that enhance the ethics of the teaching profession and to invoke those methods when facing similar situations.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Mohannad Abdulhussein Aboud, included defining to the professors that the teaching profession is not like any other profession and explaining the roles that a university professor can undertake throughout their professional career. The university professor must recognize the roles they can assume during their career, as well as benefit from assessment results to correct or reinforce their path as needed, and not be stingy in providing academic assistance to graduate students.
