Dr. Einas Abood from the Polymer Research Center at the University of Basra participated in the AGYA International Conference, which is being held at the Catholic University in Erbil under the title "Improving Water Quality in Iraq" during December 17 and 18, 2024. She presented a research paper entitled "Advances in Composite Nanomaterials: Towards a Cleaner Water Future for Basra", which highlights innovative solutions in the field of water purification using advanced nanomaterials. The research aims to provide effective and sustainable technologies to address the challenges of water pollution and improve its quality in Iraq in general, and Basra Governorate in particular. This distinguished scientific achievement comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts made by the University of Basra and the Polymer Research Center to enhance environmental sustainability and develop modern technologies that contribute to addressing pressing environmental issues. This conference is a unique opportunity to exchange scientific expertise between Arab and German researchers and enhance scientific cooperation to achieve a sustainable future in water resources management.
