The Psychological Counseling Unit at the Faculty of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra organized a scientific seminar entitled "The role of the university in raising awareness of students' rights".
The seminar aimed to familiarize students with their legal rights and help them deal with the pressures of university life in a healthy and effective manner.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Abdulkarim Zair Al-Muzani and Jurist Ayyad Karim Khalaf, highlighted the role of the university in raising awareness of students' rights in the social, psychological and legal aspects. The seminar emphasized the importance of providing them with the necessary information about their rights and how to claim them, and teaching them how to deal with any violations they may be exposed to, to promote a sustainable educational and health environment.
