The English Department at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra organized a scientific workshop on enhancing basic skills to enter the labor market
The workshop aimed to provide participants with basic skills that help them achieve professional success and enter the labor market.
The workshop, presented by trainer Wafaa Shaker and trainer Hussein Ghaeb, included providing linguistic, technical and social skills that enhance job opportunities efficiently, and teaching participants effective communication strategies that help them interact with colleagues and clients.
The workshop demonstrated a set of basic skills for engaging in the labor market, such as English language proficiency skills, improving effective communication, and introducing the latest tools and technology used in various fields, software and applications that enhance productivity, planning, organization and time management skills, as well as social skills and building professional relationships.
