Two lecturers from the University of Basra participate in an international conference

Two lecturers from the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra, Dr. Abbas Abdul Hassan Kazim, and lecturer Makram Jamal Abbas, participated in the 13th International Conference held at the College of Education for Human Sciences at Tikrit University.

The participation included presenting a joint research paper entitled "A Geographical Analysis of Residential Mobility Trends and Currents in the City of Basra", and the results of the study showed that the largest percentage of mobility was from weak regions to more developed regions, as the percentage of mobility between regions reached 42.1%..

The research aimed to address the concept of residential mobility in the city of Basra, and to focus on the movement of people between different population regions, which provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge between participants from different parts of the world, and to enhance scientific cooperation in the fields of geography and human sciences.
