The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra organized an awareness seminar entitled "The Impact of Technology and Preoccupation with Daily Life on the Relationship between Children and Parents" in cooperation with the Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Unit.
The seminar aims to determine the impact of using technology and its repercussions on the relationship between the child and his parents, and to determine the role of this technology in raising the child at the educational and social level, and to adopt the descriptive analytical approach.
The seminar, in which both Lecturer Dr. Abdul-Ali Hamid Al-Tamimi and Professor Dr. Hanaa Abdul-Nabi Al-Abbadi lectured, included the technological development witnessed by our contemporary world about many useful inventions that have begun to enter the details of our daily lives and have become an integral part of the necessities of life that cannot be dispensed with, but the widespread and excessive circulation of these inventions by different age groups has had serious harm, especially to the child.
