Workshop Held on "Learning Advanced Excel Skills" at the College of Pharmacy
The Department of Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, organized a specialized workshop titled "Learning Advanced Excel Skills."
The workshop included several technical sessions. The first was by Lecturer Aseel Ja'az, focusing on the SUBTOTAL function for filtering and pane freezing. The second, by Lecturer Rana Hassan Shamkhi, covered IF, nested IF, and COUNTIF functions for text manipulation.
Furthermore, Lecturer Wad Abdul Qader demonstrated essential shortcuts to streamline tasks, alongside the use of the TEXT function for date extraction and cell merging techniques using the ampersand symbol.
The primary goal of the workshop was to train faculty members and staff on advanced Excel competencies required for data organization and analysis, featuring direct practical application of all concepts discussed.
