Pharmacy Faculty Member Receives Certificate of Appreciation from a Prestigious International Journal
Dr. Hussein Nasser Khalaf, a faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, has received a certificate of appreciation from the Iranian Journal of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (IJCCE).
Dr. Hussein explained that this recognition was awarded in appreciation of his scientific efforts in reviewing the research paper titled: "Optimization of Ultrasound-Assisted Extraction of EGCG, EGC, and Caffeine from Iranian Green Tea Leaves Using Response Surface Methodology".
The study he reviewed aims to optimize experimental conditions for extracting bioactive compounds using advanced ultrasound techniques, thereby enhancing the quality of research published in the journal, which specializes in chemical sciences and engineering and is indexed in prestigious global databases.
