The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a workshop on the Discipline Law for State and Public Sector Employees No. 14 of 1991, as amended.
The lecture aimed to familiarize participants with the duties and rights of employees and to promote legal awareness.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Mohammed Jabbar Kareedi, covered the main topics of the law. It addressed the individuals subject to the law, namely employees, clarified the duties and obligations of public employees, and explained the procedures for conducting administrative investigations. This included the formation of investigative committees, the steps they undertake, and the process of issuing recommendations and decisions.
