Dr. Dunya Ali Hussein, Director of the Quality Division, and Dr. Naif Mohsen Aziz, Head of the Academic Accreditation Unit, lecturers in the Department of Ecology at the College of Science, participated in a workshop in the field of environmental management and energy management, which was held at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basra.
The workshop included highlighting the role of government support in enhancing energy efficiency, reducing emissions, reducing losses, and focusing on rationalizing energy consumption and applying the requirements of the international standard for energy and environmental management.
The workshop included the attendance of professors and researchers from the university, and during it, they addressed the effects of climate change, its causes and effects in undermining food security, increasing the spread of epidemic diseases and drought, and the economic and health impacts on societies.
