Conclusion of the technical awareness workshop (BGC) sponsored by Basra Gas Company
Thanks be to God, the technical awareness workshop was held on Thursday 12/12/2024 under the generous sponsorship of Basra Gas Company (BGC). The workshop witnessed a distinguished attendance and great interaction from the students of the College of Engineering - all departments (third and fourth stages) who showed clear interest in the topics that were covered.
The most prominent topics of the workshop:
1. Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)
Its great importance in implementing projects and the requirements for adhering to them were highlighted to ensure the success of operations.
2. Risk Assessment
How to identify potential risks, analyze them and develop strategies to deal with them effectively.
3. Operations
Explaining the practical steps that ensure the smooth continuity of projects. 4. Implementation:
Addressing the technical and administrative aspects of implementing projects efficiently. 5. Operation:
Discussing the final stages of the project and how to ensure sustainability.
Workshop objectives:
Enabling students to learn about the steps of implementing the project from planning to operation.
