The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled (TLRs Expression, Cytokines and Microbiota in SARS-Cov-2 Vaccinated Recipients) by the graduate student Ashraf Ali Mohmmed Hussein. The study aims evaluate the safety and efficacy of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine and included assessment of TLR7 and TLR8 gene expression as well as measurement of some essential cytokines and study the nasal bacterial community of the vaccinated and non-vaccinated individuals the study was recommended that Sinopharm vaccine was safe and effective against SARS-CoV-2 virus
