The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra organized a visit to Al-Safa Government Mixed Primary School with international standards as part of the ongoing efforts to promote health awareness and achieve sustainable development goals.
This visit aims to provide an awareness lecture that includes instructions for oral and dental health care, and to urge students to use the correct methods while brushing their teeth. Students interacted with the awareness lectures with enthusiasm and interest in maintaining oral and dental health.
The visit included distributing dental care tools (brush and toothpaste), as well as distributing posters and brochures for dental care and hanging brochures on the school walls.
At the end of the visit, the school administration expressed its thanks and gratitude for this visit, hoping that such initiatives will be repeated and that this visit will be generalized to all schools in the governorate.
