The History Department at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra organized a scientific visit to the Central Library, as part of the college's efforts to enhance students' practical experience.
The visit aimed to view the library's services and contents of books, magazines and historical documents, as well as to learn about the modern methods adopted by the library in acquiring and organizing sources.
The visit, which was conducted by first-year students in the department under the supervision of Dr. Mustafa Jawad Abbas, included a tour of the various halls of the library, during which the library director provided a detailed explanation of the available services such as research, borrowing and photography, in addition to the historical resources provided by the library, which are valuable sources for developing students' research and study skills
