The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a training course entitled "The Employee's Rights and Duties," with the aim of enhancing employees' administrative and legal knowledge.
The course, presented by lecturer Sajjad Sabah Adham, covered the concept of public service and its historical development. It also defined the civil servant and outlined their rights and duties. It also reviewed the concept of disciplinary violations and the penalties that result from them.
The course recommended that employees be informed of their duties to avoid violations, while also developing their legal and administrative skills, especially for those holding leadership positions or participating in investigative committees
