A master's thesis at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra examined the concepts contained in the sociology textbook for the fourth-grade literary section and the extent to which students acquired them (an analytical study).
The thesis, submitted by student Huda Muhannad Al-Subaie, aimed to identify the concepts contained in the sociology textbook for the fourth-grade literary section, examine the balance in the distribution of concepts across the book's chapters, and examine the extent to which fourth-grade students acquired the concepts contained in the sociology textbook, as well as the differences in the extent to which they acquired the concepts contained in the sociology textbook.
The thesis concluded from an analysis of the sociology textbook for the fourth-grade literary section. The researcher relied on two analytical methods: reanalysis and comparison with analysts. Statistical methods used included Spearman's rank coefficient, Pearson's correlation coefficient, the chi-square test, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient
