The Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra organized a large-scale tree-planting and planting campaign in the college's gardens and grounds. This campaign is part of the university's ongoing efforts to enhance green spaces and preserve the environment. This campaign is part of the "National Tree Planting Day" activities, which aims to protect vegetation and raise environmental awareness among students. During the campaign, a variety of trees were planted, contributing to the college's green space, providing a healthy and sustainable learning environment, and spreading the culture of tree-planting within universities and educational institutions, thus mitigating the negative effects of climate change
