The master's thesis at the College of Science at the University of Basrah discussed (Using Of Zno Nanoparticles Prepared from Some Medicinal Plants in Biomedical Applications). The thesis of researcher [Zainab Abdul Amir Najm] included the manufacture of zinc oxide nanoparticles using extracts of four samples, three of which were of plant origin (Quercus infectoria), garlic (Allium sativum), ginger (Zingiber officinale ), and one of animal origin, propolis. The study also dealt with the diagnosis of active compounds using GC-MAS technology and the characterization of zinc oxide nanoparticles to ensure the efficiency and quality of manufacturing. The thesis aims to manufacture a hybrid antagonist ZnO+Carbomer940 as an accelerator for the wound healing process in BALB/c mice. The study concluded that the hybrid antagonist ZnO+Carbomer940 manufactured was highly efficient in accelerating the wound healing process and had a significant level compared to other treatments. The study also recommended the integration of zinc oxide with other active compounds to study the synergistic effect between them in accelerating wound healing and including zinc oxide in the treatment of all diseases, including cancerous tumors, fungi and parasites.
