The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled “Intestinal Parasitic Diseases: A Comparative Study of Pathogenic Factors and Infection Mechanisms” by the graduate student Sufyan Abdulrahman. The study aims to explore the pathogenic factors and infection mechanisms of Entamoeba histolytica and Giardia lamblia, through an epidemiological and diagnostic comparison in Iraq, with a particular focus on their impact among children and immunocompromised individuals.
