The College of Education for Humanities Organizes a Field Visit to the National Orphanage
The History Department at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra organized a field visit to the National Orphanage in Basra Governorate.
This visit, under the direction of Dr. Haider Khazal Al-Kaabi, Dean of the College, aims to share the joy of Eid with orphans and is part of the social activities the department seeks to organize to support this segment.
The visit, conducted by a number of professors and students from the department, included a meeting with the director of the institution and the presentation of food baskets and bouquets of flowers to the institution's academically outstanding orphan students. The delegation also attended an entertainment festival and competed in mental arithmetic competitions, during which prizes were distributed to the winners, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration among the orphans and guests.
This visit reflects the University of Basra and the Deanship of the College's commitment to strengthening social ties and contributing to supporting needy groups, thus improving their psychological and social conditions during holidays and special occasions.
