The History Department at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra held an exhibition of heritage photographs to celebrate the 61st anniversary of the university's founding, one of the oldest academic institutions in Iraq. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Haider Khazal Al-Kaabi, Assistant President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College, with a number of professors and students in attendance. The exhibition featured a collection of heritage photographs documenting Iraq's history and prominent historical figures who contributed to the building of the Iraqi state.
