The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a scientific workshop on identifying animal study stations.
The workshop aimed to focus on the various animal ecology specialties that require field data collection, and the factors and determinants necessary to identify fixed or variable study stations.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Adel Fadhel Abbas, a lecturer in the Department of Ecology, included an explanation of the appropriate methods for identifying stations and how to collect information appropriate to the animal group under study.
The workshop recommended focusing on various animal ecology specialties, studying them in the field, and utilizing available expertise to support this specialization.
