The college of science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar on the mineralogical, geochemical and petrophysical analysis of the Zubair formation in the Zubair oil field, southern Iraq. The seminar aimed to conduct a detailed analysis and interpretation of the petrophysical properties of the Zubair formation in the Zubair oil field and to verify the effect of the mineral composition on the petrophysical properties of the formation . The seminar, which was attended by researcher Rayan Hassan Ibrahim, included explaining how these mineral components affect the performance of the reservoir and production possibilities.
