In line with the College of Dentistry's vision to serve the community, faculty and students from the college visited the elderly care home in Basra.
The visit aimed to enhance the humane side of our parents in the elderly care home and to express our moral duty towards the elderly, sharing their moments, embracing them, and addressing their humanitarian needs.
The visit included several humanitarian and social activities, including positive interactions with the elderly, listening to their stories and needs, distributing symbolic gifts that brought smiles to their faces, and providing essential medicines and health supplies, after coordination with the home's administration to ensure their suitability.
The college's faculty and staff expressed their thanks and appreciation to the home's administration for providing all necessary services and amenities for the elderly.
