Scientific Participation | National and International Conference:
Dr. Rana Hassan, a faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, participated in the 8th National and 5th International Scientific Conference. The event was organized by the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala, in cooperation with Warith Al-Anbiyaa University and Al-Hilla University College.
Dr. Rana participated with a scientific paper titled: (Internet of Things (IoT) with the Estimation of Pareto Distribution for Type-I Progressive Censored Data). The research involved finding Pareto estimators using both Classical and Bayesian approaches through MLE and Lindley methods, while utilizing Monte Carlo simulations and R programming.
Furthermore, the study profoundly discussed the importance of integrating IoT platforms with advanced estimation techniques, given their critical significance in the health and industrial sectors. The research aimed to develop such integrated programs to highlight their vital role in predictive maintenance for industrial systems and real-time monitoring. Additionally, it showcased the applicability of utilizing IoT platforms in reliability analysis and continuous health monitoring applications.
