The college of science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar on the use of the results of the seismic Inverse in the construction of the geological model . The ring aims to reduce the unreliability in the distribution of petrophysical properties in the geological model. The seminar in which PhD student Javad Kazem Rady al-Bahadli attended included the use of three-dimensional seismic survey data in the halafaya field southeast of the city of Amara with drilling data and converting them using the seismic inverse technique into acoustic impedance for the entire reservoir, through which, by applying seismic aftershocks, the petrophysical properties, including effective porosity, permeability and oil saturation, could be predicted to form the supervisor and matching the results with the field data this method contributed to the dissemination of petrophysical properties generated from seismic survey data instead of The resulting data are from statistical methods .
