The College of Science, in the Department of Mathematics, hosted a seminar entitled "Numerical Study of the Start-Up of Inelastic Fluid Flows Through a Channel: Finite Element Method" for postgraduate student Ahmed Jameel Ganem. This seminar presents the simulation of inelastic fluid flow due to shear through an axisymmetric rectangular channel, considering the presence of shear and extensional viscous models.
