The Department of Mathematics at the College of Science discussed the Ph.D. thesis of student Haider Abdul Razzaq Namous, entitled "Parametric Analysis of Nanofluid Flow Problems." The thesis aims to propose and develop three hybrid analytical methods for solving nonlinear equations related to nanofluid and hybrid flow problems. The first hybrid method (LTC-q-HAM) is based on a combination of the quantum symmetry analysis method (q-HAM) and the Laplace transform (LT) supported by the convolution theory (CT). The second hybrid method (ETC-q-HAM) combines the Elzaki transform (ET) with the q-HAM and the convolution theory. These hybrid methods were applied to find optimal approximate analytical solutions for the flow of Geoffrey-Hamel magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) nanofluids and Casson nanofluids for compressible flow in a porous medium between two parallel plates.
