The College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra organized a training workshop on the accreditation of programs in the colleges of the Educational Group. This workshop was held in collaboration between the University of Basra's Quality Assurance Department and the College of Education for Humanities.
The workshop aims to establish accurate and scientifically correct paths for program accreditation by enhancing the methodology for preparing self-evaluation reports and developing the skills of participants. This will support Iraqi academic institutions' chances of achieving accreditation and improving the quality of higher education.
The workshop, which was presented by Dr. Abdul Karim Taher Yasser, Director of the Quality Assurance Department at the University of Basra, addressed the most important requirements for applying for program accreditation for the college's departments. Professor Ammar Dawood Salman also gave a lecture, discussing the most common errors in writing self-evaluation and compliance reports, common mistakes in preparing self-evaluation reports, and ways to address and correct them, in accordance with the instructions and regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in this field
