The College of Science, Department of Mathematics, has discussed a PhD thesis entitled "Approximation by the new modification of Szasz operators" by postgraduate student Janan Abdul-Ridha Rasan. The thesis aims to present a study that considers a modification of the Zaz-Merckian sequence, which relies on a continuous function that is differentiable to infinity. The thesis also includes generalizations of the Zaz sequence based on the parameters alpha and gamma, which lie within the intervals [0, 1] and [-1, 1], respectively.
