The study aims to develop the ratawi oil field – the Mushrif reservoir, through water immersion to maintain pressure and increase the efficiency of extraction. The study involved the preparation of a three-dimensional geological and dynamic model using Petrel 2018 software to estimate the original oil in place and match the historical performance of Wells. Six different development strategies were tested over 35 years, showing a difference in production behavior and extraction efficiency depending on injection and production patterns. The results showed that the sixth strategy achieved the highest recovery coefficient of 9.65% at a production rate of 2400 m3/day, while the fifth strategy achieved a production sustainability of 2100 m3/day and a recovery coefficient of 6.97%. The study confirms the effectiveness of Streamline Simulation in optimizing design and management to achieve maximum technical and economic returns.The results have shown that the adoption of water immersion according to thoughtful strategies achieves a significant increase in the recovery coefficient and maintains the reservoir pressure for a longer period. The sixth strategy also showed the best extraction efficiency, while the fifth strategy provided stable long-term productivity sustainability.The study recommends the use of integrated water immersion plans based on the optimal distribution of Wells, injection rates and production. It also stresses the importance of employing streamline Simulation at all stages of planning and development to achieve the best technical and economic returns.
