University of Basra Organizes a Workshop on the Student Information System (SIS)
The History Department at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra organized a specialized workshop on the Student Information System (SIS) and the HEPQ application. This workshop was part of the college's efforts to promote digital transformation and develop academic and administrative work mechanisms.
The workshop aimed to introduce the SIS electronic system and its importance in organizing student data, enhancing digital transformation, and simplifying academic and administrative procedures.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Shukri Shaker Al-Abadi, Director of the Student Affairs Department, and Dr. Hisham Latif Sawadi, Director of the Information Technology Center, included a detailed explanation of the HEPQ application linked to the SIS system and how to use it.
The lecturers outlined the system's basic functions, such as student registration, grade documentation, academic progress tracking, and the preparation of student statistics and reports, all for the purpose of comprehensive digital transformation in student affairs management.
