The Computer Science Department at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized an awareness symposium titled "From Pain to Hope - Real-Life Experiences in the Fight Against Breast Cancer." The symposium was presented by Dr. Reem Hisham Kadhum, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Prof.Dr. Hisham Kadhum, and a number of faculty members and students.
The symposium addressed the importance of early detection of breast cancer and its role in increasing survival rates.Dr. Reem Hisham Kadhum, also presented moving real-life experiences of women who bravely faced the disease and transformed from pain to hope.
The symposium aimed to raise women's health awareness and encourage them to undergo early screening, emphasizing that health education is an essential step toward prevention and successful treatment.
