The Computer and Information Technology Consulting Office organized a specialized training course in computer networking technology (CISCO).
The course aimed to equip participants with fundamental and advanced knowledge of computer networks, their management, and security, using the curricula of Cisco, a leading global networking company. Through these courses, the college seeks to enhance the practical and applied aspects of its curriculum and align it with the needs of the local and international job market.
The course, presented by Dr. Haider Mohammed Abdulnabi, Head of the Computer Information Systems Department, covered a variety of topics combining theoretical and practical aspects. It addressed basic computer networking concepts, network types such as local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs), and explained how devices communicate. It also included a detailed explanation of network components such as routers, switches, and cables.
